introduction!

Thanks for visiting my blog! This blog contains random musings about all things fashion. Whether its my favorite illustrations, runway photos, or deals I found online! Anything goes.. as long as it has to do with fashion.

David Downton - fashion illustrator

This is one of my favorite fashion illustrators. I love the lines that Downton done in his illustrations. Especially the profile one at the very bottom, even though though Downton uses so few lines, it still so elegant.

Milan Fashion Week - RTW - Fall 2009 - Missoni

Angela Missoni went back to the signature roots of Missoni, by featuring a knit-centric collection. The Arabian-influenced collection featured layered cardigans, ribbed leggings, miniskirts, and scarves of all sorts.

Missoni piled on the layers and there was a lot of them. Ranging from cardigans short/long and scarves that were extra-long. The soft texture was combined with a color palette of pinks, peaches, grays, glittering gold, and the occassional colbalt blue.

New York Fashion Week - RTW - Fall 2009 - Nicole Miller

Forget exotic prints, Nicole Miller this season decide to go with sharp lines, geometric shapes, and architect inspired. The colors were mostly black paired with cobalt blue and fuchsia. The collection featured lacquered fabrics, leather/velour biker jackets, and exposed zippers gives Nichole Miller a more edgier and urban theme.

The black and white print on the shift dress with the red bands going across. Reminded me of broken. While the shift dress with pleats accented the waist.
